Klezmer, the happy Jewish music , was created by Jews in Eastern Europe.

The Klezmer beat is fast and cheerful, and melodies are played instrumentally. Modern Klezmer bands add vocals to the music.

The lyrics, however are short repeated phrases. A famous klezmer tune is Hava Nagila.

Traditionally, klezmer bands who played at Jewish Simchas & weddings, used acoustic instruments, but Now-a-days, electric instruments are also used.
